The Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission A held a coordination meeting along with the National Land Agency (BPN) related with the comprehensive systematic registration program (PTSL), on Wednesday (2/26). This meeting acted to evaluate the implementation of the central government program regarding the certification of citizens' lands.
"To success this program, the Jakarta Provincial Government injects Rp 355 billion for BPN, three times in the budget," disclosed the Commission A Chairman, Mujiono.

"We don't want them (public) to be disappointed," he explained.
Jakarta BPN Region Office Head Jaya uttered PTSL program objectives as regulated in Article 19 of the Law number 5/1960 on Basic Agrarian Regulations aimed at ensuring legal certainty over land ownership.
"There is certainty of ownership, objects, and limits and width," he told.
He explained there a
re several stages of PTSL implementation. First, counseling by the BPN officers in urban village area and PTSL members should be involved in it.Second, data collection, the officer will ask for a history of land ownership such as the previous owner, the basis of ownership (whether inheritance, grants or buying and selling) and tax history (BPHTB and PPh).
"Third is measurement. Our men will measure and examine the boundaries of land ownership and the applicant must be able to indicate the location, shape of the plot, width of land and it boundaries. It must also require the agreement of the landowner," he explained.
After that, it will be continued with the announcement and ratification. For 14 days, the announcement of the approval for the submission of the land certificate will be posted at the urban village office or the local land office.
"To be the final stage in the PTSL program is the issuance of certificates. Its certificate will be handed over through officers to the owner," he stated.
